About this app

Linear Quick Capture is a fast form for creating issues in Linear without leaving your workflow. Type a title and description, select your team, and click Create to submit the issue via the MCP gateway. The app displays the new issue URL immediately and maintains a running log of your recent creates so you can track what you've submitted. Designed for teams that need to log issues quickly without navigating Linear's full interface.

How to use

Enter the issue title
Type a concise title that describes the issue or task in the title field.
Add a description
Fill in the body field with additional context, steps to reproduce, or details about the issue.
Select a team
Choose the Linear team where the issue should be created from the team dropdown.
Click Create
Submit the form to create the issue in Linear via the MCP gateway.
View the issue URL
The app displays the new issue URL on success so you can open it immediately in Linear.
Check recent creates
Visit the Recent Creates list to see all issues you have submitted with their identifiers and timestamps.

Demo data

On first use, the recent-creates table is empty. Each time you create an issue, a new entry is logged with the issue URL, identifier, title, and team. The list persists for the duration of your session.

Privacy

The app stores the following user data in the recent_creates table: user_id (your account identifier), issue_id (Linear issue ID), issue_url (link to the created issue), issue_identifier (Linear issue key), title (issue title you entered), team_key (team identifier), and created_at (timestamp of creation). Records are retained indefinitely unless manually deleted.
