About this app
Currency Converter lets you quickly convert amounts between world currencies using live exchange rates. Select your base and quote currencies, enter an amount, and see the converted result instantly. A 30-day historical line chart shows how the exchange rate has moved over time for any pair you choose. Swap currencies with one click. If the API is temporarily unavailable, the app falls back to cached rates so you can still work offline.
How to use
- Select base currencyTap the base currency dropdown and choose the currency you want to convert from (e.g., USD).
- Select quote currencyTap the quote currency dropdown and choose the currency you want to convert to (e.g., EUR).
- Enter amount to convertType the amount in the input field. The converted result updates automatically as you type.
- View the 30-day chartScroll down to see a line chart showing how the exchange rate between your chosen pair has changed over the last 30 days.
- Swap currenciesTap the swap button to instantly reverse the base and quote currencies and recalculate the conversion.
- Use cached rates offlineIf the API is unavailable, the app displays the most recent cached exchange rate so you can still convert amounts.
