About this app
Chromatic is a minimalist daily color-matching puzzle game inspired by Wordle. Each day you have 6 attempts to guess a secret color. After each guess, you receive precise feedback on three dimensions: how close your hue is, how close your saturation is, and how close your lightness is. Solve the puzzle and your time is recorded on the global leaderboard. Build a streak by solving consecutive daily puzzles. One new puzzle drops every day at midnight.
How to use
- View today's puzzleOpen Chromatic to see the color input field and your 6 remaining attempts.
- Enter a color guessType or paste a color in RGB or HSL format into the input field.
- Submit your guessPress Enter or click Submit to send your guess and receive feedback.
- Read the feedback barsThree bars show how close your hue, saturation, and lightness are to the target. Adjust your next guess based on the differences.
- Solve within 6 attemptsKeep guessing until you match the secret color exactly or run out of attempts.
- Check your solve timeWhen you solve the puzzle, your time is recorded and appears on the global leaderboard.
